Meet Our Pastors
Pastor Damon Horton
Pastor Damon Horton is married to Marquisa Horton and together they Pastor Corinth Baptist Church. Damon was first ordained as a minister in 2016 by Pastor Rodney Everage, Pastor of Keys To The Kingdom.
He was quickly elevated to Elder in 2017 and installed as Pastor of Corinth in March 2020. Damon attended Scott High School and earned a scholarship to play football at Defiance College. Between 1997-2002 Damon coached the Mid-City Lions football team and at Rogers High School 2003-2010. Over the years Damon has coached and mentored hundreds of young men, looking for ways to positively impact each one of them.
Pastor Damon Horton
Damon currently serves as Director, at Pathway to Successful Leadership. In this role, he is responsible for the proper management of the alternative to suspension program that is spread across over 16 Toledo Public Schools and one Charter School. In addition to that role, he is also responsible for proper management of the behavioral modification and futuristic programs run by Pathway to Successful Leadership.
Damon is the proud father of 1 daughter and 2 sons. Damon currently serves as an active member of IMA of Toledo and Faith Leaders Unite for Change. Pastor Damon said that his participation in the 2020 protest March against racism was one of his proudest moments in the ministry.

Pastor Marquisa Horton
Pastor Marquisa Horton is married to Damon Horton and together they Pastor Corinth Baptist Church. Marquisa was first ordained in 2005 at Church of the Living God P.S.S. under the leadership of Pastor Lana Bell.
She was later elevated to Elder in 2016 and installed as Pastor of Corinth in March 2018. Marquisa attended Macomber Whitney and the University of Toledo majoring in Business Administration. Over the years in ministry, Marquisa served behind the scenes in administration, served as a prayer intercessor, and participated in various women ministries. Throughout the years she has mentored and inspired young women across the United States.
Pastor Marquisa Horton
Marquisa works as Director, Technical Operations for Buckeye Broadband where she has been employed since 1995. What she likes best about her role is being used as an example to others of how far the favor of God can take you outside of the church walls.
She is the proud mother of three sons. Marquisa currently serves as executive secretary for the IMA of Toledo and is an active member of Faith Leaders Unite for Change. Pastor Marquisa said that her greatest moment in the ministry to date was dressing her husband during his Pastoral Installation service.
